Our communities are the cornerstones of our stores. As a third-generation family business, we carry on the values of our grandfather and father, and they were both heavily involved in their communities. It’s just part of who we are and how we do business. We’re here to serve our local neighborhoods not just with the best customer service and range of products we can offer, but by getting involved. We support our local schools and social-good nonprofits whenever we can and we love hosting events at our stores. Now that Covid is slowing down, we are looking forward to reinstating some of our favorites.

As we get back into the swing of the new normal post Covid, we will be bringing back our in store demos, classes and other events.
We are always looking for new talent. You don’t have to be an expert in hardware – we can teach you that – you just have to want to be a part of our family and be of service to the community, get our core values and have the capacity to grow with us. We always promote from within – our GM started out in the Palo Alto store as a cashier eight years ago; our HR manager started as a cashier at 16, went to college while working for us, and took over our HR department when she graduated; and our Half Moon Bay manager started at Hassett as his first job, worked in all the departments and has been with us now for 23 years.
